Self Service Laundromat

We are open 6am – 9pm, 7 days a week. May 1 – Nov 1 we extend our hours 6am – 11pm. Canada Day – Labour Day we are open 24 hours

Yes – We have ample parking.

We are fully attended so you can drop it off anytime from 6am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

Wash & Fold

We are fully attended so you can drop it off anytime from 6am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

We carry and use a variety of detergents and softeners. You select your preference when you book or leave it to us. We carry Tide, Tide non-scented, Gain, Purex, Arm and Hammer, Ivory Snow, Ecos and Kirkland detergents. Bounce and Bounce unscented as well as All, which is unscented dryer sheets, Downy fabric softener, Bleach, Oxi-Clean, dryer balls and various stain removers.

Detergent, dryer sheets, fabric softener and bleach are all included in the wash and fold service.

Normal turnaround time is the next day, but if you need it the same day, the cost is just an additional .49 cents a pound.

Never. It is not hygienic to do so. All orders are done separately.

We can accommodate a limited amount of hang dry items. Because of the amount of space required and the amount of time it takes to hang dry items indoors, your hang dry items may be returned wet or damp. We highly recommend that you continue to hang them at home to complete the drying process. You may also request that we dry your order on very low heat.

Yes, you most definitely can drop your own laundry off at our Laundromat located at 2802 Princess Street, Kingston or 648 Dundas Street East, Belleville.

This service is for all machine washable clothes–sheets, towels, underclothes, shirts, pants, etc. Items are sorted, sprayed if necessary then washed, dried, folded and packaged. Students choose Annual, Semester, or Monthly Bundled Plans of 10, 20, or 30 lbs per week.

Like your meal plan or class registration, you pay for your Wash & Fold Plan at the beginning during registration. Your Dry Clean Orders and Wash & Fold overages are charged to the credit card that was provided when registering. A Usage Summary Statement is emailed to both students and parents each month.

This plan is perfect for occasional use and we’ve made it simple to use. Any clothes turned in with your reusable Wash & Fold bag are billed at $2.75 per pound. If you require Dry Cleaning, you’ll be billed on a per-item basis. It’s that easy.

Drycleaning

Dry cleaning orders are delivered within 48-96 hours of pickup (Business days). Exceptions apply for specialty items and large-volume orders. If your dry cleaning is picked up on a Thursday it will not be returned until Monday at the earliest.

Yes, our pick up and delivery laundry/dry cleaning service has a minimum charge of $30, plus tax. This can be a combination of per-lb laundry service, individually priced items, or dry cleaning.

We will take those back! You can leave the wire hangers that you do not need in your black Dry Clean bag the next time you turn in clothes.

We charge $2.50 per pound for Pick up and Delivery service with a 10lb minimum. Please check out our pricing page for a full price list.

Yes, our pick up and delivery laundry/dry cleaning service has a minimum charge of $30, plus tax. This can be a combination of per-lb laundry service, individually priced items, or dry cleaning.

You may cancel until 3 hours before your pick up time. You may edit your order until 1 hour before pick up time. (with no cancellation or rescheduling fees)

If the pick up is cancelled when the driver arrives at your door there is a $15 cancellation or missed pick-up fee. Different fees apply to Prepaid plans.

If your order is cancelled after pick up but before we have started the cleaning process there is a $40 cancellation fee.

Orders may not be cancelled after the cleaning process has commenced and full charges for the service will apply.

We do offer Contactless pick up and drop off. You can provide us with a pick up/drop off arrangement that you believe is secure. (Porch, concierge, garage, deck box etc.) We will text/email you when the pick up/drop off is done. This service is solely for the benefit of the customer and Spinz Laundry assumes no responsibility should your laundry go missing before pick-up or after drop-off.

We’ve put in place email and text reminder tools to make sure you don’t forget. However, if you do forget to leave your laundry out, we do reserve the right to charge a $15 missed pickup fee to cover costs.

Pick up and delivery is included in pricing. We try to be transparent and fair in our pricing and make it easy to understand, as we ourselves hate hidden charges. All charges will be fully disclosed to you before we proceed with services. Please take a look at the pricing section so there are no surprises.

Sometimes prior to washing we may see special handling needs (stained items, sequins, suede etc.). If any extra labour, products are required or if it is outside our expertise, we will contact you to discuss any such additional charges before proceeding.

You do not need to sort your laundry. We will gladly do it for you. However, we believe it is beneficial to you to separate your laundry prior to dropping it off or pick up.

Please pack your laundry in a reusable or recyclable bag or pillow case. If you are a recurring customer, we will return your laundry in a re-usable Spinz Laundry bag free of charge. Extra bags can also be purchased online when placing your order.

Please do not send your laundry in plastic laundry baskets.

We will notify you by text or email when your laundry is ready to be picked up or has been delivered.

Pickup requires a 24 hour notice, anything less will be considered same day service. We will pickup as little as 1 hour notice but surcharges will apply.

Yes! We will pick up and deliver orders from your house, condo, apartment, office, gym etc. We service businesses as well as individual’s homes.

When the weather is bad, we double-bag your laundry to make sure it’s protected from the elements. We always do our best to protect your laundry however, we cannot be responsible for laundry that is lost or damaged by the weather after it’s dropped off at your home. Please review the terms and conditions for more details.

If there is a severe storm, such as a blizzard, we will return your laundry to you as soon as it’s safe for our drivers to do so. We will keep you updated to any charges via phone, email and/or text.

No, our staff enjoy the holidays the same as you, if you had a scheduled pick up or delivery that falls on a holiday expect your pick up or delivery to be scheduled for the next business day.

We recommend that your pickup/drop-off location be protected from the elements if possible. Most customers have us leave their laundry on a front or back porch, in a garage or with their building manager. We also use common sense and watch the weather. If a blizzard is coming, we’ll contact you and make alternate plans.

If you are going to be away just call into your account and place your account on “vacation hold” until you return. This doesn’t apply to student plans.

Simple. Just let us know and update your Laundry Preferences adding a note in the “Laundry Instructions” or “Folding Instructions”. Our employees check your personal laundry profile for any changes every time they process your laundry.  You can also send a list or instruction inside your laundry bag. Any questions we will notify you for clarification.

Garment Care Program

As you learn your way around, you’ll see attendants outside the residence halls. They’re waiting to take dirty clothes or return clean ones to you. You can use whatever truck you wish, but a couple days each week it will be closest to your residence hall. The exact times and truck locations are posted online so once you know your dorm you can check it out. You may live in a residence where lobby service is available or is the only option. If so, there’s a spot you can drop-off and pick-up orders in your residence.

You will receive an email before school starts with details on where to pick up your laundry bag during move-in.

This is where we shine. Students receive a nylon (bacterial resistant) bag for Wash & Fold. Everybody’s clothes are washed and dried separately then hand-packaged before they are returned. Each bag (and order) is tracked through every step of our care process.

At home, these clothes would go to the local cleaners. At college the Garment Care Program ensures students don’t have to leave campus. With or without Wash & Fold, our Dry Clean Service is for everything you want returned on hangers. Each month we total up the dry-cleaned or laundered clothes and then charge by the item. Just like the local dry cleaners, charges only occur when service is used.

We always recommend that you check your care label to find out exactly how the manufacturer says to process items. However, we process thousands of Lululemon/Nike/Adidas/etc. items every day without issue.

Account & Misc.

You can pay using your credit or debit card. Spinz laundry uses Square which is a secure payment system.

If you do not have a credit card you can pay by debit, etransfer, Paypal or cash but please note that our drivers DO NOT CARRY ANY CASH for change.

In-store orders can be paid by cash, credit, or debit. Our attendants can exchange bills for the change needed in the machines.

Yes! You can purchase them here through our website.
